'Everybody Draw Mohammed Day' -- Time for intimidation, or freedom?

Monday May 20 is "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day" (read)  a day when people draw together to protest against threats to artists who portray Mohammed, and to protest against censorship.

They can't kill us all. And they can't silence us all, either. Or so one would hope.

Homosexuality is biologically natural, not deviant

What do Ben Franklin, the Utah state bird, and the Supreme Court all have in common?  And what does any of that have to do with gay rights? It’s only natural that you should ask. Over 250 years ago, Franklin invented the lightning rod.  Back then, some people objected strongly to its use as being presumptuous and against the will of God.  Downright unnatural, one might say.  

Don’t exploit murders to promote religious agenda

As an atheist, I too wonder why anyone would deliberately massacre young schoolchildren, as occurred in Newtown, Conn.  I, too, share some of the pain of those who have unfairly lost their loved ones.
