Efforts to 'freecycle' office furniture at Hill

"Freecycling" is a term that describes the recycling of an unwanted item by offering it to someone else for free. Team Hill has its own business version of "freecycling," one of the trendier attempts in these fiscally tighter times.

In coordination with continued efforts to clean up and restore usable space it has been coordinated with the DLA Disposition Services (previously DMRO) to allow the turn-in of specific office furniture items WITHOUT the normal required paperwork.

July 30 women only motorcycle course

Allan Woods, Installation motorcycle safety chief, has scheduled a Women Only Experienced Rider Course (ERC) on Friday, July 30. Learn emergency maneuvers on a controlled range, rather than on a busy street.

This is a very good course especially for the rider with a lot of experience. Riders do tend to pick up bad habits over the years and this course will help you to identify and eliminate those on the learning range instead of on the road.
