I think the Dec. 5 Standard-Examiner front page headline "Brigham City mayor is hypocrite" is way out of line. To compare a "signing off" (or supporting the actions of his staff) in the termination of someone who clearly violated city policy by having a relationship with a fellow officer who was his subordinate trainee, to a relationship of two individuals whose private lives have nothing to do with city policy is ludicrous.
