Companies vie for cleanup contracts in Haiti

MIAMI -- As Haiti begins digging out from under 60 million cubic meters of earthquake wreckage, U.S. companies have begun jockeying for a bonanza of cleanup work.

MIAMI -- A powerful 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck near the capital of Haiti Tuesday afternoon, crippling the poor island nation and knocking out most of its communication with the outside world.
