Be good to your car and it will be good to you!

I can honestly say that having a car is my favorite part of being a teenager.

Cool Summer Jobs

Wouldn't it be great to hang out at an amusement park or sit by a pool all day -- and get paid?

'Despicable Me' totally delightful

I have looked forward to seeing "Despicable Me" for quite some time. A month ago, on June 9, I actually woke up, shot out of bed and ran down the stairs to tear open the newspaper and pick what time I was going to see it!

It's relatively painless to help save another's life

I am horrendously afraid of needles. Horrendously. Afraid. Even just mentioning their horrible existence in an otherwise pleasant conversation, or seeing a movie with a needle scene, I tense up and squeeze my eyes shut in utter agony. And my skin isn't even the one being penetrated by sharp metal!

Vintage duds finally making a much-welcomed comeback

"They're baaaAAAAaack!"

Name that movie! If you guessed "Poltergeist 2," then kudos to you, because that is correct. Now, you might be wondering to what item's grand return I am referring. The answer -- vintage clothing!

(Galatee Films) A scene from the film 'Oceans.'

Disneynature film's 'Oceans' just doesn't stack up to 'Earth'

Earth Day is a great day! We plant trees and flowers, and clean up trash, all to help save our planet. Also on Earth Day come Disneynature films -- my favorite part of the day.

TX: Inside The Vault

As my ride pulled up to the curb of The Vault on Kiesel Avenue and I set my foot on the sidewalk, I could hear the building I was about to enter vibrate from the thunderous bass line of the music playing inside. I was giddy with excitement! The little girl inside me squealed and jumped up and down.

Never too old to ...

Ah, the good ol' days. The days when everything we did was fun. Those long-loved days before responsibility and pressure and worrying about the future.

Back then, we could spend all day jumping on the trampoline, or climbing trees, or prank calling with our friends. We had all day to do nothing -- or everything we wanted.
