(UNEDITED)As a convert to Mormonism, and one who joined the Mormon Church in Alaska, I must reply to a letter by Ronald Udy of Ogden dated 11/05/2010, attempting to define Christianity. Albeit, he didn't say Mormons aren't Christian, but by his definition it is plain to see he meant to say Mormons are NOT Christians. In comparing the doctrines of several other Christian faiths, I found virtually all of them inconsistent with Biblical teachings of Christ and/or they all had different doctrines and teachings of Jesus Christ as taught from the Bible. I guess that's why there are so many different Christian religions.......they all disagree with one another as to first, Doctrine and second, as to who and what Jesus Christ truly is. In my study of the Bible and teachings/doctrines of several Christian faiths before I joined the Mormon Church, I could not understand why each one differed, sometimes even diametrically opposed, from one another. If they all profess to be Christian, why aren't they all compatible with one another and why do they all teach different doctrines relating to Jesus Christ, His character, His person, His teachings?
