House approves Bishop's bill to limit president on public monuments

A bill limiting a U.S. president's ability to designate new national monuments passed the House on Wednesday.Congressman Rob Bishop, sponsor of the bill, called the vote "a win for the American people." Opponents see it as completely unnecessary, asking "Why fix what is not broken?"
