Editor,Can someone please explain how one can compare the flooding of a city and human lives during Hurricane Katrina to a website malfunction? Hundreds of lives were affected and millions of dollars were lost in New Orleans, along with other costal cities along the gulf. Yet the Republicans are comparing this to the so-called Obamacare? Cut farm subsidies, not food stamps

Editor,As of Nov. 1, many who received food stamps will have them cut from $1.50 per meal to $1.40, and many of these recipients are children, the elderly and military disabled veterans who are trying to make it on their monthly pensions.
