Steve Powell's legal troubles may not be over

OLYMPIA, Wash. — The voyeurism conviction of a missing Utah woman’s father-in-law may not be the last of his legal troubles, as an attorney said Thursday she is working on a lawsuit that could keep pressure on Steve Powell.

TACOMA, Wash. — A jury on Wednesday convicted Steve Powell on all 14 charges in a voyeurism case that stemmed from an investigation into the 2009 disappearance of his daughter-in-law Susan Powell, a Utah mother of two who has never been found.

TACOMA, Wash. — A jury handling the voyeurism case against a missing Utah woman’s father-in-law resumed deliberations Wednesday, a day after struggling to reach a verdict and asking a question about the key evidence gathered in the case.

TACOMA, Wash. — A prosecutor finalized his voyeurism case against Steve Powell on Tuesday, saying that the father-in-law of a missing Utah mother lurked in the shadows of his bedroom to capture nude images of young girls who lived next door.
