SALT LAKE CITY -- Gov. Gary Herbert's outdoor recreation director says he will hold a Utah Outdoor Summit to leverage the economic potential of the state's wild and spectacular lands. Brad Petersen has been busy during his first 90 days on the job. He's in charge of promoting Utah's $5.8 billion outdoor-recreation economy and aligning the state's 600 gear manufacturers and distributors. His job is unique among federal, state and local governments.
