With gas prices hovering just below $4 a gallon, and the cost of living becoming steeper and steeper, many Top of Utahns are looking for ways to save money.
Brown-bagging lunch and ordering off the Dollar Menu at fast-food joints are two ways to make cuts to the weekly budget, but with all of our great local eateries, there’s no reason to suffer through bad meals to save a buck.
A dollar doesn’t buy what it used to — neither does $5, for that matter — but to put my money where my mouth is (see what I did there?), I’ve mapped out a weekly menu for Ogden that will run you less than $20 a week.
You still might not be able to fill your gas tank, but at least you can fill your stomach.
