I am sure many people took notice when the challenger for the Davis County Commission seat said he would accept a much reduced salary for the job. It made me suspicious. Now of course we know that he really only wants to work
10 hours a week for his $40,000, plus benefits. Who will do the rest of the job? How much will that cost? I'm more worried about what he's not saying. Will he raise taxes? He hasn't mentioned taxes at all. At a "Meet the candidates night" I went to, he said that economic development was not part of the county's responsibility.
