Report: Ronaldinho may end 10-year stint in Europe

SAO PAULO -- Ronaldinho is reportedly negotiating a return to Brazil from AC Milan, with three top clubs lining up to sign him.

The 30-year-old Ronaldinho is in Brazil and his brother and agent Roberto Assis said Flamengo, Gremio and Palmeiras are trying to sign the player. Assis told GloboEsporte.com on Sunday that a deal is expected within a few days.

SAO PAULO -- Chewing gum and playing soccer proved a dangerous mix for one Brazilian player.
Aloisio, a striker for Vasco da Gama, wound up in the hospital after colliding with an opponent and choking on his gum during a second-division game Tuesday. He was released from the hospital and avoided serious injury.
Doctors said he injured his head and stopped breathing momentarily, the gum obstructing his airway.
"It was a very serious situation," Vasco doctor Paulo Cesar Rocha said Wednesday. "Luckily, we identified the problem quickly and took the gum out to help him breathe again."

Ronaldo keeps winning titles in Brazil

 SAO PAULO -- Four months into his remarkable return to soccer, Ronaldo is getting used to winning titles again.

The veteran striker helped Corinthians clinch the Brazilian Cup on Wednesday, lifting his second trophy in a row since recovering from the third serious knee injury of his career.
Ronaldo already won the traditional Sao Paulo state title with Corinthians in May, and Wednesday's win caps off the striker's successful comeback to competitive soccer.
"I have to be thankful. My return to football has really been fantastic," Ronaldo said. "I couldn't imagine things would happen like this."
