Editor,This is a hard letter for me to write as I have mixed emotions concerning the Utah Jazz. I have loved, or did love, the Jazz and appreciate the Miller family. I believe my concerns and apprehensions about the Jazz are being felt, not only by me, but by many Jazz fans. Granted, I guess I'm from the old school, but I thought the best players on the team were the starters. Not so for the Jazz. How many NBA teams do we know of in which three starters have not scored a single point in a whole game? This has recently happened twice for the Jazz. How many teams do we know of in which not a single starter scored in double figures? This happened just the other night against the Knicks. How many teams we you know of that regularly fall apart in the 3rd quarter like the Jazz do? How many teams do we know of in which the subs come into the game to add some energy and enthusiasm? Why not start them?
