The Battle of the Bands takes place on Friday, April 11, 2008 at the Shepherd Union Building at Weber State University. The event will begin at 7 p.m. with the doors opening at 6 p.m. Admission will be $8.

Online Video Battle

Sponsored by the Standard-Examiner, Music Village and Inkley’s

Thanks to all those bands who have entered the Standard-Examiner’s first-ever Online Video Battle. The Standard, along with Music Village and Inkley’s, are looking for the best music video in the Top of Utah, but now WE NEED YOUR HELP.

Register and let us know what you think about each of the competing five videos. Voting will end on April 10, 2008.

This year’s prize package includes: an M-Audio Fast Track Pro Computer Recording Interface and a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-M30 Professional Headphones from Music Village and a digital camera from Inkley’s.

The winning video will be played and announced at this year’s Battle of the Bands on Friday, April 11, 2008 at the Shepherd Union Building at Weber State University. The event will begin at 7 p.m. with the doors opening at 6 p.m. Admission will be $8.

Daphne Loves Derby, an up-and-coming band from Washington, will take the stage at 10:30 p.m. immediately following the Battle of the Bands competition for a BONUS CONCERT!
