Winter fun on tap at show
Thursday, November 8, 2007
The Winter Travel, Ski, and Recreation Show, sponsored by Information, Tickets & Travel, will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 20 at the officers and enlisted officers clubs.
The event will feature information and/or representatives on: local ski resorts, snowcat skiing, cruises, snowmobile trips, outfitters, winter recreation, helicopter skiing, ski lessons and hotels.
Also, Outdoor Recreation will offer its ALINE Custom Insole Special for $35, regularly $50. It's good for ski boots, hiking and tennis shoes, combat and work boots, and more.
The feet are the foundation of sports performance, propelling and directing the powerful muscles of the lower body.
ALINE's Bilateral Foot Alignment Suspension Technology ensures the precise alignment of the feet in relation to the rest of the body and supports the foot through its complete range of motion, maximizing energy transfer from the feet to the lower body for extreme sports power.
In addition, Snowbasin will offer its Snowsports Recreation Program, which consists of four two-hour lessons and an all-area lift ticket for each day.
Students have the choice of one or more sessions taught on four consecutive Saturdays or Sundays.
Specially priced tickets can be purchased at the Snowbasin booth at the show: $150 for ages 8-17 and $200 for ages 18 and older.
