Kids' pow wow at Hill Field School
The Hill Air Force Base American Indian/Alaska Native Association is planning a Kids Pow Wow at Hill Field Elementary School, 389 S. 1000 East, Clearfield, on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Native American dancers will perform. Native American artifacts, bead work and refreshments will be for sale.
Admission is $2 per individual, $5 per family, two cans of food per person, five cans of food per family. Canned goods are being collected for the Airman's Attic and the Indian Walk-In Center in Salt Lake City.

Power outage scheduled Nov. 21
There will be a power outage Nov. 21 from 8 am. to 2 p.m.
The following buildings will be affected:
Buildings 720, 710, 709, 708, East Gate , Pump station, 10757, 756, Hot Pad, P8001, 749, 753, 798, 732, 751, ABDR, 745, 747, 752, Burn Pit and Building, Prime Beef, Borta Area, 748, 743, 741, 723, 723A, 727, 717, 743, 744 and 725.
If this outage can't take place on date and time scheduled, contact the 75th Air Base Wing Customer Service Office, Helene Price, and Jonathan Ramras by Nov. 17. This project will connect power from the pole to the new transformer overhaul test facility.

Bar J Wranglers charity concert
The Jackson Hole Bar J Wranglers Christmas Concert tickets for Dec. 16 are now on sale. The concert will be 7 p.m. in the Roy High School auditorium. Tickets are $20, $15 and $10 and reserved seating is available.

10-digit/7-digit dialing in March
Beginning March 1, all telephone users at Hill Air Force Base, Little Mountain and the Utah Test and Training Range will be required to dial all seven digits to complete on-base calls and all 10 digits for any local outgoing calls.
For example, instead of dialing 7-8324 on base, you will now have to dial 777-8324. For off-base local calls, you will have to dial the "99" access code followed by all 10 digits. For example, 99-801-940-XXXX. All commercial calls coming onto the base will also require all 10 digits.
Current long distance and DSN call patterns will remain the same.

Toastmaster Club issues invite
Hill Climbers Toastmaster Club No. 4846 meets from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each Wednesday at Hill Air Force Base Building 1225 in the north conference room. Participants will learn to become more competent and comfortable in front of an audience and gain additional skills. A membership drive is ongoing; dues will be waived for six months with paid new member's fee of $20.
The club invites potential members to check out the meetings.
