ITT presents the 2008 Global Volkssport, 5K Walk and 10K Walk

ITT is sponsoring the 2008 Volkssport, 5K Walk (3.1 miles) and 10K Walk (6.2 miles) on Saturday, Sept. 20, beginning at the Hill Air Force Base Community Center, Building 460, parking lot at 8 a.m., with a finish no later than 10 a.m.

* AVA/IVV sanctioned-IVV Credits (Global Stamp) are available for participants.

* Lapel pin -- No medals, this pin replaces the old medals from past years. All participants receive a pin.

* Registration fees -- If you want IVV Credits, entry fee is $3 for preregistration and $4 the day of the event. If you just want to participate with no IVV Credit (Global Stamp), then it's free.

* Registration -- You may preregister at Information, Tickets and Travel, Hill AFB, Building 460, or register the day of the event (if you do not have a Hill AFB ID card, you must preregister by Sept. 12).

* Non-Hill AFB affiliated participants -- All participants who do not have a Hill AFB ID card must preregister by Sept. 12 so that arrangements can be made for base access.

* Volkssport location -- Hill Air Force Base

* Course -- Start and finish in the parking lot of Thornton Community Center, Building 460.

* Start/finish -- All participants start at 8 a.m. and finish no later than 10 a.m.

* Open to everyone -- Bring your family and friends of all ages. No double credit for any participants.

* Water/restrooms -- Along the way.
