Beer and cheese pairings
On Saturday, Oct. 4, Roosters Brewing Company and Beehive Cheese Creamery will partner for the third annual "Birds and Bees" event to benefit Utah's first Ronald McDonald House Family Room. The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Fountain Patio located at Ogden's Union Station. The collaboration between the two independently-owned Utah companies will bring together food, drinks and live music for an important cause. During the event, guests can sample hand-crafted cheese, micro-brewed beers and sodas and culinary cuisine with Beehive Cheeses. All artisans will be on hand to answer questions regarding cheese, beverage makings and food pairings. The cost of admission is $30. Gypsy jazz guitar
On Saturday, Oct. 4, 7:30 p.m.- 9:30 p.m. at the Peery's Egyptian Theater in Ogden, Samarabalouf, a delightfully crazy music trio hailing from France and playing original music in the spirit of world famous Gypsy jazz star Django Reinhardt and his rhythmic guitar.
