What holiday movie jingles your bells?

They say 'tis better to give than receive. So, at this giving time of the year, why not share a little holiday movie advice with the rest of the Top of Utah?

We want to hear all about your favorite festive film here in the month of December.

Perhaps you're more of a traditionalist, going with a classic like "It's a Wonderful Life" or "Miracle on 34th Street." Or perchance you like your holiday fare a bit more irreverent, like "A Christmas Story" or "The Nightmare Before Christmas." Or maybe, just maybe, it's something most of us wouldn't even think of as a holiday film, like "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" or "Trapped in Paradise."

Whatever jingles your bells, we want to hear about it. Tell us your favorite holiday movie, and a little bit about why it holds that extra-special place in your ho-ho-heart.

Send your response to Favorite Holiday Movies, Standard-Examiner Life section, P.O. Box 12790, Ogden, UT 84412-2790; fax to 625-4299; or e-mail life@standard.net, with "Favorite Holiday Movies" in the subject line.

Please include your name, your town and -- in case we need to contact you -- a daytime phone number.

Deadline is 5 p.m. Wednesday.
