What are they thinking! Yup, I knew the city wasn't going to give the hotel the extra height, and one of the other hotels has filed for bankruptcy (Sept. 24, "Ogden rejects height amendment"). I'll bet a week's pay that everyone who visits 25th Street couldn't care less about a hotel 7 feet higher.

I am thrilled with the international sports companies coming to Ogden, but what about all the vacant stores along Washington Boulevard?

There's still nothing to do after an evening at the Sundance Film Festival. We can't even walk to the proposed Wal-Mart adjacent to downtown for a big gulp!

But wait, we have two more a few minutes away. By the way, I didn't see any mention of this in Outside or National Geographic. It must have been an oversight. Come on, Ogden. Let's make downtown a place to visit, not just a drive-through with loud exhaust!
