Missing hunter found

WEBER CANYON — A hunter missing in the Monte Cristo area since yesterday has been found. The man was cold and wet, but OK, according to Weber County Dispatch.

Search and Rescue units were called out at sunrise Monday morning to help locate the man.

Police were notified around 10:15 p.m. last night that he had not returned as expected, according dispatch.

A command post was set up near mile marker 43 on State Road 39.

Dispatch reported the man was last seen near the Squaw Flats/Wasatch Ridge exit in the Monte Cristo area.
