Utah delegation split on bailout vote
WASHINGTON DC — Utah Representatives were split on the $700 billion economic bailout package which passed the U.S. House earlier today.Rep. Chris Cannon, R-Utah, was the only Utah Representative who voted for the bailout package, said a staffer in Cannon’s Washington DC office.
Rep. Rob Bishop, R-Utah, and Rep. Jim Matheson, D-Utah, both voted against the economic package.
Both Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, and Sen. Bob Bennet, R-Utah, voted for the bill.

I'm with ya. Get rid of Bennet and Hatch. And I'm glad Cannon is going away. He showed that he is a bitter loser who does not care what damage he does to Utahns as he leaves office. I give thumbs up to Bishop and Matheson, but I don't think they voted to represent their constituencies. They voted against it because they were just scared they would not be re-elected if they supported the bail out. How long have they been in office and they've not done anything to stop the excess. Give them the boot too.
