Police investigate double stabbing in Layton
LAYTON — Two people in Layton were sent to the hospital after an early-morning robbery at their front door in which two suspects attacked them with a knife.
A male suspect has been arrested. Floyd Terell McAffee, 34, was booked into the Davis County Jail before 6 a.m. Friday. He was charged later in the day with first-degree felony aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary.
Police are still searching for a female suspect, but have no description of her, said Layton Police Officer Shawn Lewis.
The robbery occurred near 1600 N. Avalon.
Lewis said two victims were treated at hospitals. The woman “was stabbed in the face and needed some stitches” while the male “was beat up pretty bad,” Lewis said.
