INDIANAPOLIS -- Andretti, Rahal, Foyt. It sounds like throwback day at the Indianapolis 500.

Patty Moise was a regular on NASCAR's Busch circuit for almost 10 years, and drove in six Nextel Cup races along the way. Popular and personable (enough to get a few TV jobs), she never quite made it over the hump, but she was competent, rugged and dogged about it, running her own team for a while.

INDIANAPOLIS -- No matter their experience at other tracks, all drivers who race in the Indianapolis 500 for the first time are considered rookies.
 
American Le Mans Series Acura Teams Test at Miller Motorsports Park  
TOOELE VALLEY -- It's Springtime in Utah. The trees are blooming, the flowers are blossoming and extraordinary sports cars are returning to Miller Motorsports Park. On Wednesday, all four Acura LMP2 teams arrived to test for the fourth round of the American Le Mans Series, the Larry H. Miller Dealerships Utah Grand Prix presented by The Grand and Little America Hotels, scheduled for May 16-18.
 
Force gets 1,000th round win  
MADISON, Ill. -- John Force cemented his position as the most prolific Funny Car driver in NHRA history, becoming the first to reach 1,000 round wins with a first-round victory over Ron Capps in the O'Reilly NHRA Midwest Nationals.
