Robert (Bob) E. Nelson, 68, of Bear River City, died Saturday, July 28, 2012, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, while on vacation with family. The funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at the Bear River Ward Chapel, 5870 N. 4700 West. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 E. 200 South, Brigham City, and at the church Friday before the funeral, from 9:15 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. Interment, Bear River City Cemetery. BEAR RIVER CITY — Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Aaron R. Beesley, who fell to his death Saturday while searching for two lost hikers, is being remembered by family and friends for his fondness of technology and law enforcement.
