Man in NV classmate’s killing set for sentencing

ELKO, Nev. — One of two people accused in the March 2011 killing of a West Wendover High School classmate is set for sentencing in Elko.

Kody Cree Patten is set for a hearing Friday morning. He pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in May in a deal that spares him from the death penalty.
