EDEN -- As snow slathers Ogden's Wasatch peaks, skiers and boarders gear up for the late November opening of the area's bookend ski resorts -- Powder Mountain and Snowbasin.And for the second year, Utah Transit Authority's ski buses will run to both resorts, starting Dec. 21 through April 12, 2014.

HUNTSVILLE -- Laura Warburton has learned about a population of homeless people that she can't get out of her mind.They are children who are on their own.Because they are breaking the law if they've run away, they can't stay in a shelter in Utah for more than eight hours.That puts them on the streets.

Landslide cleanup underway near Pineview; road closed

HUNTSVILLE -- A significant landslide on State Road 39 was unable to be cleared overnight because the land is still unsettled, officials say. "There's still stuff coming down gradually," Weber County Sheriff's Lt. Phillip Howell said. "It's not traumatic or anything, but UDOT wasn't able to clean it up because it is still settling."
