Library in Ogden Valley to host senior lunch

HUNTSVILLE — Weber County Library’s Ogden Valley Branch, 131 S. 7400 East, on will host its Out To Lunch! senior citizen lunch at noon Wednesday. Activities will follow.

HUNTSVILLE — Weber County Library’s Ogden Valley Branch on Thursday will host its Summer Sizzle music series, featuring music and dance by Nino Reyos.

SR 39 repaving to take a month or more

HUNTSVILLE — The Utah Department of Transportation advises Ogden Valley residents that a project to repave State Road 39, from its junction with State Road 158 at Pineview Dam to 100 East in Huntsville, has started.

This project, which will take more than a month to complete, will involve the removal of the existing asphalt surface, recycling and repaving it in one process using specialized milling and paving equipment.

'Paving train' speeds up roadwork near Pineview

HUNTSVILLE — The state is using a new technology to lessen the pains of heavy roadwork scheduled for the Ogden Valley.

Next Tuesday, the Utah Department of Transportation will begin to repave State Route 39, from Pineview Dam to 100 East in Huntsville.

The project was announced at a Utah Transportation Commission meeting held Friday in Tremonton.
