SANTA ANA, Calif. -- An outbreak of a deadly virus has horse trainers and owners in Riverside and Orange counties fearful for the health of their animals.

Norma Williams Forsberg, 87, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, in West Haven. A viewing will be 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at the Rudd Funeral Home in Garland. Violent crime would decline if cities limited the number of liquor stores and banned the sale of single-serving containers of beer and other alcoholic beverages, researchers at the University of California, Riverside said.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. -- A woman claiming to sell a moon rock was arrested in Lake Elsinore in Riverside County on Thursday morning as part of an undercover sting by NASA investigators aided by local police.

The investigation, which spanned several months, led to a covert meeting in a Lake Elsinore restaurant where undercover officials from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration agreed to buy the rock for $1.7 million, according to a report by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
