Family escapes injury in I-84 rollover

UINTAH -- A family was reported to be unhurt after a 5:30 p.m. Friday single-car rollover on Interstate 84 just east of the junction with Highway 89 near the Devil's Gate-Weber Hydroelectric Power Plant.

Officials were originally concerned because young children in the car were not in their car safety seats.

Driver dead in I-84 crash at Weber Canyon

UINTAH — A truck driver hauling a tanker full of butane died Wednesday morning when his Flying J truck overturned.

The truck was westbound on Interstate 84 around 10:30 a.m. and took the off-ramp at Exit 87 to southbound U.S. 89, said Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Chris Simmons.

The vehicle overturned while still on the ramp.
