The answer was in Clearfield, Utah.Now time is of the essence in trying to get the remains of the teen, who went by the name of Lee Beeler, back to his birth mother, who has been diagnosed with cancer for the second time.

Out of hundreds of messages, the Standard-Examiner selected 20 messages that show a 27-year-old teacher's string of behavior over months of inappropriate Facebook messaging to a then 13-year-old student. In the messages she discusses Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) issues of other students including grades, divorce/custody issues along with personnel, faculty, and student privacy issues with a teen student. The Ogden Highland Junior High School teacher resigned April 2. Some redactions have been made for privacy of other teachers and the principal, all of whom had disparaging remarks made about them. Since the teacher has not been publicly charged with anything, her Facebook profile picture has also been blurred. Private Facebook Messenger messages from the teen's account were provided to the Standard-Examiner by the parent.

Hill Air Force Base U.S. Air Force Reserve and the Utah National Guard worked together for a "Lone Survivor exercise in Utah's West Desert on Saturday, April 12, 2014. The exercise involved the collaborative efforts of the 419th Fighter Wing, the 151st Air Refueling Wing and the 211th Aviation Group to rescue a downed F-16 pilot. Two AH-64 Apache helicopters from the 211th Aviation Group scouted the area and then secured the area and then two UH-60 Blackhawks also from the 211th AG arrived at the scene to collect the pilot after he/she was confirmed with a security password. The F-16 was refueled by the 151st Air Refueling Wing. This is the first exercise that involved the combined efforts of the Utah National Guard and U.S. Air Force Reserve. At about 5:40 p.m., a man crashed a motorized paraglider near the power lines that run parallel to Willard Bay Park North Marina. According to Utah Highway Patrol, he died in the crash.
