Nancy Louise Anderson, 54, of Roy, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, of cancer. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Feb. 15, at Washington Heights Baptist Church, 1770 E. 6200 South, in South Ogden. Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the church. West Haven Cemetery plot sale successful

WEST HAVEN -- The city of West Haven pre-sold 268 plots in the new cemetery on Jan. 23-24.

Councilwoman Dawnell Musselman said the city is very happy with the sale.

“It was definitely a success,” said Councilman Blaine Holmes.

The city is working to have the new cemetery operational as quickly as possible, with an estimated opening sometime this fall.

West Haven offers discount on burial plots

WEST HAVEN -- The city is ready to sell burial plots in the new cemetery and is offering a discount for early purchases.

City residents or property owners can go to City Hall between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Jan. 23 or 24 to purchase plots at the discounted price of $450. After the presale, the plots will cost $550.

"It's a great public service to the residents," said West Haven Parks and Recreation Director Brock Randall.
