Former Bountiful Junior High teacher Valynne Bowers appeared in 2nd District Court in Farmington with attorney Rich Gallegos Monday, March 4, 2011. She was convicted of 2 counts of forcible sexual abuse of a child, second degree felonies, and sentenced to 2 consecutive terms of 1-15 years in the Utah State Prison.
