Hostess Twinkies have been part of our pop culture

Twinkies have been a part of our lives since they were invented in 1930 by James Alexander Dewar. Recent developments with Hostess cause us to look back on memorable moments in movies and television that showcase that "Golden Sponge Cake with Creamy Filling".
In the 2011 film, "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance", the character, Blackout (Johnny Whitworth), has the ability to decay items quickly by touching them. He is seen decaying someone's lunch and comes to a Twinkie. He is impressed with the Twinkie because it doesn't decay when he touches it.
