Rachel PoVey works for Tuttle Federal Credit Union in Moore, Okla. She and 20 other employees and customers took cover in the safety deposit vault area moments before the tornado hit on Monday, May 20, 2013. The tornado destroyed the credit union except for the vault. Her husband, Tycen PoVey, formerly of Washington Terrace and former Raptor baseball player, found her coming out of the vault. He had drove out of town just before the tornado hit. He and Rachel found half of her red Mazda on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, about a mile away from the credit union parking lot. The PoVeys also heard someone yelling and dug out an elderly couple who had hid under a table in a doctor’s office near the credit union.
