Outlaws hope to take advantage of chance

WASHINGTON TERRACE -- Riding a season-high four-match unbeaten streak, the Ogden Outlaws are looking to finish their season on the highest possible note.

Ogden hosts the L.A. Blues 23 at 5:30 p.m. tonight at Bonneville High School in their final match of the 2011 season.

The Blues currently sit just one point ahead of Ogden after falling 2-0 to BYU in Provo on Thursday night, giving the Outlaws an opportunity for their highest-ever finish in the PDL's Southwest Division.

"The guys have really come together over the last few weeks and are starting to play the kind of soccer we wanted to play all season," Ogden owner/coach Mike Hickman Sr. said. "Hopefully we can continue that this weekend and have a good finish to the season."

Ogden is currently 3-9-4 in PDL play, but owns a 2-0-2 record in its past four matches, gaining five of those points on the road.
