OGDEN -- The thunder of F-16 fighter jets will start off Ogden Pioneer Days Parade.
The parade with about 125 entries starts at 9 a.m. Monday and runs from 31st Street to 20th Street on Washington Boulevard.
"It's a great parade, lots of great entries. There will probably be 60,000 spectators," Executive Administrator Jackie Belnap said.
"There will be a flyover from Hill Air Force Base; it will start the parade and they will follow up with the rodeo that night."
This year, camping is permitted along the parade route, starting at 6 p.m. today, to save a space for watching the parade. Campers must occupy the space throughout the night and be at least 16 years of age or be accompanied by an adult to comply with Ogden curfew laws.
