RIVERDALE -- Two southbound lanes on Interstate 15 were closed for a couple of hours Wednesday after concrete fell into the roadway from the Interstate 84 bridge.

No cars were damaged and no one was hurt from the small pieces of concrete that were reported around noon, said Vic Saunders, a spokesman for the Utah Department of Transportation.

UDOT engineers inspected the bridge and determined that concrete was cosmetic in nature and didn't affect the structural intergrity.
