Italians to gather at Lagoon for annual celebration

FARMINGTON -- The Italian American Civic League will host the 78th annual All-State Italian Day at Lagoon on Aug. 14.

The day will include everything from children's games to the biggest bocce tournament in Utah.

As the hub of Italian events in the state of Utah, IACL has continued its tradition of All-State Italian Day for almost 80 years.

Italian Day at Lagoon will consist of all types of entertainment for the family. Children's games, a pasta-eating contest (sponsored by Tony Caputo's Market), and bingo are among the scheduled activities. Food, beer, and novelties will be for sale. For more information, call Gia Frederick at 801-699-1934.
