NORTH OGDEN -- Gallery Theater Productions is laying the groundwork for its 11th season. Experienced actors of various ages, playwrights, directors and technical staff are needed on a volunteer basis to help with the original short plays to be performed in the round in the center's Gallery Theater.
Auditions for the upcoming season will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at 2737 N. 650 East, North Ogden.
The original plays next season range from serious dramas to comedies and require actors of all ages.
Be prepared to read from scripts or to recite from prepared text. Bring a resume and head shot. Applications will be provided.
The company also is seeking playwrights, directors, stage, sound and light technicians, house managers and graphic artists. The evening will include the selection of plays and scheduling all aspects of production for the season.
A light supper will be included.
After the work is done, swimming and visiting will be part of the event.
Plays will be presented at the Eccles Community Art Center in Ogden.
