ROY -- A vehicle accident was to blame for a power outage that left several hundred customers without power Saturday night.
Dave Eskelsen, a spokesman for Rocky Mountain Power, said 1,751 customers were without power at 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
All but 770 customers were back with power an hour later. Those customers were without power until 3:40 a.m. Sunday when repairs were completed.
Eskelsen said those without power were served by a substation at 3159 W. 4000 South. He said because of the time involved in repairing the line, he believes a power pole likely was in need of repair.
