OGDEN -- A Grave Memorialization Ceremony is planned for 11 a.m.Saturday at Ogden City Cemetery.
The event will honor Alexander Stephens, a private in Company D in the original Mormon Battalion.
His burial plot at the cemetery is D-3-11, just west of the main entrance to the cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd. and 20th Street.
All members of the Mormon Battalion, their families and the public are invited to attend. Men with dress uniforms and women in their pioneer attire are especially asked to be present, but this dress isn't mandatory.
