Jimmer's All-Stars games planned in SLC, Provo

SALT LAKE CITY -- Jimmermania, pro style.

Former BYU star Jimmer Fredette will be reunited with coach Dave Rose as they take on another group of NBA rookies coached by San Diego State coach Steve Fisher.

The Jimmers All-Star games are set for Sept. 21 at the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City and Sept. 22 at Provo's Marriott Center.

Fredette was college basketball's player of the year last season and 10th overall pick by the NBA's Sacramento Kings. The NBA lockout has forced players to work out and find games on their own.Fredette's agent, Scott Horner of Octagon, says the games will feature several top NBA draftees. Those names will be announced in the next several days. Teams will be chosen in a draft-style format.
