26-year-old Roosevelt man dies in rollover crash

DUCHESNE -- A 26-year-old man from Roosevelt is dead after being thrown from his truck in a rollover accident outside of Duchesne City.

The Utah Highway Patrol says Cole Horrocks died when his 2008 Dodge truck ran off the shoulder on a curve, hitting a ditch and rolling several times. Horrocks was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car.

A passerby reported a body in the middle of County Road 29, south of State Route 40, around 4 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities say Horrocks was dead at the scene.

Highway patrol officers say they found no signs that he was under the influence.
