Downed power lines cause TRAX delays

MURRAY -- Utah Transit Authority officials say downed power lines and debris on the tracks are causing delays in Murray.

UTA spokesman Gerry Carpenter says a truck hit a power line earlier in the day Thursday near the TRAX station in Murray.

He says officials are working as fast as they can to fix the problem but TRAX delays in the area could last through the rush hour commute.

Buses in the area are also delayed.
