West Haven to get its first cemetery

WEST HAVEN -- Those who wish to be buried in West Haven will soon be able to.

In April, the city bought ground at 2350 W. 1600 South for its first cemetery and is currently rough-grading the land for use. The cemetery ground was originally a big pit, but after removing trees and moving dirt, it will be suitable for burials.

The work is still in beginning stages, and there is no date set for when the public can buy plots.
