NORTH SALT LAKE -- Services for South Davis Metro Fire Agency Fire Marshal Steve Cox are set for Friday.
The 22-year firefighting veteran will be laid to rest following services that begin at 11 a.m. at the Bountiful-Woods Cross LDS Regional Center, 835 N. 400 East, North Salt Lake. Burial will be in Bountiful Cemetery, 2224 S. 200 West, Bountiful.
A viewing will be from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Bountiful-Woods Cross LDS Regional Center. No viewing will be held Friday.
Cox became ill during a training exercise at Fire Station 81 on Aug. 26 and was transported to Lakeview Hospital. He later was flown to University of Utah Medical Center, where he died Sunday.
