N. Logan man killed in Jeep rollover crash

Fatal Crash: SR142 MP3.2 Occurred on 30 August 2011 at 5:17 PM, on SR142 MP3.2 Northbound. Driver: Michael S. Winn, age 45, from North Logan, Utah. Pronounce fatal at area hospital. No seat belt used. No other occupants. 1998 Jeep Cherokee. The Jeep was northbound on SR 142 and drifted across the center line to the left, exited the road and overturned. LOGAN, Utah -- A 45-year-old man has died after his Jeep rolled over several times on a road south of Clarkston.

The Logan Herald-Journal reports (http://bit.ly/oYpxS9 ) Michael Winn of North Logan was the sole the victim in a crash that happened about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on State Route 142.

Utah Highway Patrol officers say Winn appeared to take a curve too fast and lost control of the vehicle. Officials say he was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from his Jeep Cherokee.

Winn was pronounced dead at the hospital.
