Man, 81, pleads not guilty to assault

FARMINGTON -- Lionel Milo Nance, 81, pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting a child.

Nance, of Syracuse, entered the not guilty pleas recently in 2nd District Court to three counts of rape of a child, first-degree felonies; one count of sodomy on a child, a first-degree felony; aggravated sexual abuse of a child, a first-degree felony; and two counts of sex abuse of a child, second-degree felonies.

Nance appeared in court Sept. 1.

According to court documents, the offenses occurred from March 26, 1995, to sometime in 2010.

Nance is being held in the Davis County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bail.
